Specialty latte: $8.00 for a 12oz Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte — 10/10
Black coffee $3.25 for a 13 oz drip coffee — 8/10
Vibe: 6.5
Overall: 8.2
For the specialty latte, I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte with almond milk. They have multiple cereal-themed drinks, and this one really spoke to me. It. Was. Delicious. I’m not sure if I especially liked it because I’m a huge cinnamon fan, but I loved it. I was also pretty impressed with the drip coffee, it was good!
I’m really on the fence about the vibe here. Wildroots itself is on the first floor of an office building in an interior space. It’s very small and misses having any natural light. Just outside a glass wall, you’re in the white fluorescent lobby of a corporation which takes away some of the charm. However, it’s brightened by groovy colors, murals, flowers, and disco balls. Mostly, it’s fun and cozy.
I noticed five items you can get to eat at Wildroots: avocado toast, a waffle, a breakfast sandwich, a bowl of cereal, or a rice Krispy treat. Not a ton to choose from, but enough to satiate your hunger — or your sweet tooth!
Wildroots customers can use the attached parking garage, and they validate for up to 90 minutes. It’s very convenient.
I wouldn’t necessarily categorize Wildroots as the space to work remote. Like I said, it’s a pretty small space with only three two-tops, so I don’t think I’d be comfortable taking up space there for too long.
Overall, I loved Wildroots Coffee! They have one of the best lattes I’ve had in a long time, and even their drip coffee is good. It’s intentionally decorated and convenient for a quick cup or a beverage with a friend.
