Specialty latte: $6.50 for a 12 oz cherry mocha – 6/10
Black coffee: $3.25 for a 16 oz drip – 6/10
Vibe: 7/10
Overall: 6.3/10
For the specialty latte, I ordered a 12 ounce cherry mocha (with dairy milk). It was hot, perfectly foamy, and not too sweet. It wasn’t quite as flavorful as I hoped, as both the cherry and chocolate flavors were pretty subtle. The drip coffee was good, not too strong or acidic, and fairly basic. I enjoyed both drinks.
The interior is spacious and clean with lots of natural light coming in through the windows. Overall the space is fairly simple, but there are some fun murals on the walls. It’s bright and has plenty of tables for guests without being crowded at all. Outside, there are three two-top tables for patrons to enjoy their beverages on the sidewalk patio.
At The People’s Market, you’ll find a full menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in addition to their pastry offerings. They have a wide selection, ranging from avocado toast to pizzas to baked chicken. Everything I’ve had from here is delicious — especially the salmon BLT. There’s definitely something for everyone.
There’s a designated parking lot just a few steps from The People’s Market (behind the row of businesses) and a few parallel spots in front.
This might be one of the better coffee shops for remote work — like I said, there’s lots of tables without feeling crowded.
Overall, the People’s Market has good drinks and an inviting ambiance. You can expect to find something you like there since the food and drink menus are expansive. It’s a great place to meet for lunch or work remotely with a nice, hot beverage.
