  • Specialty latte: $6.50 for a 16 oz “Maple Mistletoe” (maple marshmallow) – 8/10

  • Black coffee: $3.50 for a 16 oz drip coffee – 6/10

  • Vibe: 10/10

  • Overall: 8/10

For the specialty latte, I ordered a 16oz “Maple Mistletoe” (with almond milk), which is a maple and marshmallow latte, as recommended by the barista. It was tasty and had the perfect amount of foam, though it could have been a tad hotter. I liked the marshmallow flavor a lot. The drip coffee was good, fairly standard and not too acidic.

I can’t say enough good things about the ambiance at Rosie’s. Inside, you have this cozy, colorful, and eclectic decor, complete with string lights and a variety of framed artwork. Outside, there’s an expansive garden with paths weaving throughout the property — and still plenty of seating. In the spring, the garden blooms and boasts even more natural beauty. It’s impeccably inviting, and it’s also a great place to bring a larger group.

Rosie’s only occasionally offers small snacks, so you’re better off focusing on their drink selection here. However, you are allowed to bring your own food in, and they occasionally have food trucks. I’d check their Instagram to see when and if it’s a food truck day.

There’s a small parking lot — and I mean small – but you’re better off parking around the corner at the North Davidson Street Parking Deck. It’s a super short walk, and there are always spots.

I wouldn’t necessarily name Rosie’s as a great spot for remote work. If you need to plug in your laptop, you’re limited to sitting inside which has more limited seating. I won’t say you shouldn’t, but it’s not ideal. It would, however, be a great place to get a drink and enjoy it outside with a book.

Overall, Rosie’s is a great place to go enjoy a drink and enjoy the vibe, especially if it’s nice weather outside.
